Welcome
One of life's first compulsions is to order the chaos of visual stimuli that bombard us. This almost incredible achievement leads to what seems like a rational - but is actually a purely arbitrary - distinction between the commonplace and the interesting.
Seeing for its own sake means abandoning this hard-won ability to make 'sense' of our sight impressions. As the veil of habit falls, the commonplace becomes both baffling and fascinating. Perhaps this is what Lao Tzu calls "the open door of bewilderment, the path to all wonder".
Each of the work groups that can be viewed here represents a small selection of individual ongoing projects.
All images are limited to 5 prints.
